We’re material girls

Before a single bead is placed inside a copper ring, it is researched. Not for how it looks — though every material here is extraordinary to look at — but for what it carries. Its history, its energy, its metaphysical properties, and how it works in relationship with everything surrounding it.

This is the foundation of every Essy Meyers piece. Not decoration. Intention.

Below is every material currently used in this work — what it is, where it comes from, and what it brings into your home.

SEMI PRECIOUS.

-Semi-precious Materials

Druzy Agate.

A stone of emotional stability, calm clarity, and inner light — tiny crystals that form on the surface of stone over millions of years, like frost settling on ancient rock. Druzy agate brings the grounding and protective energy of agate while adding its own crystalline amplification — catching and scattering light the way quartz veins catch the desert sun, unexpectedly and brilliantly. It holds the paradox of the desert itself: transformation and stability, fire and calm, the heat that changes you and the ground that holds you steady while it does. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Volcano. Wind Collection.

Agate.

A grounding stone that brings emotional stability, strength, protection, and calm clarity to the mind and spirit. Found in the Joshua Tree Earth Collection in its Botswana, Druzy, and Sandstone forms — each variety carrying the same grounding foundation with its own distinct expression. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree

Semi precious stones are selected for their specific energetic properties — chosen to work as a unified formula inside copper conduit rings, which amplify every metaphysical property they carry. No stone is chosen casually. Each one earns its place.

Aquamarine.

A calming stone that supports clear communication, emotional balance, courage, and intuitive clarity. A bridge between the seen and the unseen — the stone of clear water and honest voice. Found in: ‘Aquarius’ Zodiac Gem Collection + ‘Pisces’ Zodiac Gem Collection

Feldspar.

One of Earth's most fundamental minerals — present in the very ground the Joshua Trees root into. Gently clears emotional fog and restores inner harmony, allowing your true self to shine and grow. Opens all areas of the Chakras and harnesses endless elemental power. A powerful home and auric shield protector. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree

Amethyst.

Garnet.

A stone of passion, vitality, and grounding energy that ignites courage, strengthens the spirit, and inspires motivation and deep emotional connection. In the Joshua Tree collection, Garnet is the heartbeat — the pulse of determination that keeps you moving forward in the harshest terrain. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Rock series

Jasper.

A nurturing stone of grounding, stability, and protection that brings strength, balance, and calm support during times of stress and transformation. Picture Jasper's surface patterns are formed over millions of years of geological pressure — the desert landscape written directly into stone. Each bead is a miniature landscape painting made by the earth itself. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Shimmers

Green Garnet.

a stone of heart healing, abundance, and spiritual vitality — awakening your life force, opening you to love, and aligning you with the natural energy of growth and prosperity. Found in: Earth Collection X Sierra’s

Red Jasper.

A stone of vitality, courage, grounding, and protection, red jasper is believed to awaken the enduring force within us — strengthening resolve while keeping us rooted through periods of change. Its iron-rich red carries the visual language of fire and blood, connecting it to the primal energy of life, survival, and renewal. Found in: Fire Collection

Spessartine Garnet.

a stone of creative fire, passion, and bold self-expression — igniting your inner flame, dissolving self-doubt, and fueling your deepest desires into unstoppable, purposeful action. Found in: ‘Capricorn’ Zodiac Gem

Lapis Lazuli.

a stone of wisdom, truth, and spiritual insight that enhances intuition, deepens self-awareness, and empowers authentic communication. Found in: ‘Capricorn’ Zodiac Gem Collection

Smokey Quartz.

A powerful stone of clarity, amplification, and energy alignment that enhances intention, supports healing, and strengthens spiritual connection. Smoky Quartz specifically is one of the most powerful grounding and protective stones known — transmuting negative energy and creating a shield of energetic protection. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Rock Shimmer

Ruby.

a stone that amplifies vitality, courage, passion, and confidence while stirring life force energy and supporting motivation, creativity, focus, and personal power. Found in: ‘Capricorn Zodiac Gem Collection

Serpentine.

A stone that supports transformation and healing by releasing fear, grounding energy, and encouraging spiritual growth and balance. Its deep mossy green is the color of survival — life persisting against all odds, exactly as it does in the desert. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree

Turquoise.

One of the oldest sacred stones in human history — used as a protective talisman across cultures for thousands of years. Promotes inner peace, clear communication, and balanced energy, while offering powerful spiritual protection and healing. Turquoise bridges the seen and unseen, the earthly and the divine — a stone that has been worn by healers, warriors, and spiritual leaders across every ancient civilization that encountered it. Its color speaks for itself: the blue of deep water, the green of living earth, the threshold where the two meet. Found in: Water Collection X Lake Tahoe

ANCIENT.

-Ancient Materials

Ancient Stegodon Stone.

Embodies grounding, enduring strength and stability, offering protection, balance, and a deep connection to the earth's ancient wisdom. The Stegodon — a prehistoric relative of the elephant — walked this earth millions of years before Joshua Tree was a desert. These beads are among the only physical traces that remain. To hold a piece that contains Stegodon stone is to hold something that existed before recorded time. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Stegodon, The Rock Large

These are the materials that carry the longest memory. Bone, shell, stone, lava — each one has existed in relationship with the human body and the natural world for longer than recorded history. Their metaphysical properties are not modern inventions. They are ancient knowledge.

Bone.

Symbolizes ancestral wisdom, strength, and spiritual connection, supporting resilience, grounding, and a deeper understanding of life's cycles and transformation. Bone carries the most ancient human memory of any material in this work — the body's own record of everything it has survived. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree

Coconut Husk.

Carries the warm, grounding energy of organic life finding its way into every inhospitable place. Coconut husk is a quiet miracle — fibrous, ancient, grown at the intersection of earth, water, and sun. In the desert context it is not a metaphor but a fact: life always finds a way. Coconut husk brings that unshakeable, unhurried vitality into every piece it inhabits — the reminder that growth is not only possible in harsh conditions, it is inevitable. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Stegodon, The Desert Floor, The Volcano, The Shimmers. Sand Collection X Lake Tahoe

Copper.

Channels strength, clarity, and focused energy, supporting protection, resilience, balance, and the power to manifest intention into form. Copper is the foundation of every Essy Meyers piece — the conduit rings that hold all materials are made of copper, chosen specifically because copper is one of nature's most powerful energy amplifiers. Every metaphysical property in every material is amplified by the copper that surrounds it. The foundation of every piece

Snake Vertebrae.

Symbolizes transformation, renewal, instinct, and hidden wisdom, supporting the release of old patterns, resilience, and movement through life's cycles. Snake vertebrae embody the ancient rhythm of shedding and renewal — leaving behind an old form while carrying its essential wisdom forward. Kundalini activation. Found in: Fire Collection

Vintage Ostrich Eggshell.

A sacred vessel of new beginnings, potential, and creation. In its most ancient and elemental form, the egg carries the energy of what is about to begin — life held in perfect stillness before it breaks open into the world. Bleached pale and warm by time, ostrich eggshell beads carry that threshold energy into every piece they inhabit. Not the beginning itself — the sacred moment just before it. Used for ornamentation and ritual across cultures for tens of thousands of years, making it one of the oldest decorative materials known to exist. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Oasis,The Shimmers.Sand Collection X Lake Tahoe.

Shell.

commonly used to support intuition, renewal, emotional balance and calm, and a deeper connection to water energy and the feminine. Found in: Sand Collection X Lake Tahoe

Volcanic Lava.

A grounding and transformative energy that brings strength, stability, courage, and rebirth — helping release old patterns and ignite new beginnings. Born from the most intense heat the Earth can produce. Empowering for women in transition, resilience, and survival. Before Joshua Tree was a desert, it was fire. These beads are born from that same fire. Found in: Earth Collection X Joshua Tree — The Volcano

Wood.

Carries grounding, nurturing energy that fosters growth, resilience, balance, and a deep connection to nature and spiritual renewal. In these pieces, wood connects the copper conduit system back to living, breathing organic matter — a bridge between the mineral and the alive.

GLASS.

-Glass + Crystal

Glass carries the memory of transformation — it begins as raw sand and becomes something luminous. Every piece of glass used in this work has a story. Most of it has already lived a previous life.

Ancient Roman Road Glass.

Excavated from ancient Roman road sites — glass that has survived thousands of years beneath the earth, carrying the memory of a civilization that no longer exists. Every bead is a fragment of ancient human history, repurposed into something living and new. Glass embodies clarity, transformation, and amplified intention — reflecting light, truth, and the ability to see through illusions into deeper understanding. Roman Road glass brings all of that ancient clarity into every piece it inhabits, while carrying the extraordinary energy of something that has already outlasted empires. Found in: Water Collection X Lake Tahoe — The Deep I, The Deep II

Ghanaian Recycled Glass.

Carries the energy of renewal, cultural heritage, and community, symbolizing transformation, resilience, and the power of unity and purposeful creation. This glass has already lived a previous life. It has been gathered, melted down, and made into something new by artisans in Ghana — a material that embodies the entire philosophy of this work. Transformation. Resilience. Purposeful creation. Asfour Crystal.

Embodies radiant clarity and high-vibrational light, amplifying intention, purification, and spiritual illumination while uplifting energy and enhancing harmony in any space. The Asfour crystal is the eye at the center of every Essy Meyers piece — the point where all amplified energy is received and radiated outward into your home. Available in honey, satin, and clear — each with its own quality of light. The centerpiece of every piece
