Snake Vertebrae - shedding, kundalini activation, death-rebirth, ancient wisdom, Ouroboros lineage
Camel Bone - desert endurance, pilgrimage, earth grounding, ancestral desert wisdom, patience. Camel bone metaphysically represents the body’s own capacity to adapt to harsh conditions and transmute limitation into resilience.
Bone: ancestral memory, mortality as teacher, what survives
Rukenya seed: connection to the land and community, new life, tradition, culture, blessings
Mala Prayer beads: devotion, sacred repetition, energetic storage and personal resonance, protection
This piece is the first, of a collection within Fringe West which will harness desert energies. Whether specific places, or feelings...this work will focus on materiality, texture, and ancient materials. One of the most beautiful feelings I find in these places, is a monochromatic tone throughout with variances of color and texture. Unlike other pieces, I do not use as much Czech Crystal or glass for light reflection - rather, these pieces hold the weight of remembrance, death and rebirth, ancient callings through vintage, bone, and metal beads. I hope this work calls to you, and brings you home
