Water Collection X Lake Tahoe "The Deep" I
One of a kind handmade mixed media hanging energy sculpture — once it finds its home, it's gone forever.
Lake Tahoe is one of the deepest lakes in North America — over 1,600 feet at its deepest point. Ancient glacial water so clear you can see 70 feet down. It doesn't move like a river or crash like the ocean. It holds. It keeps. It runs so deep that what lives at the bottom has never seen light.
The Water Collection X Lake Tahoe is a reflection of movement, memory, and renewal — an homage to the South and East shores of Lake Tahoe, where the water meets rock, sand, and sky in quiet ceremony and sunlight speaks in turquoise ripples. This collection is not just a tribute to water. It is water, held in form.
The Deep I is the largest and most immersive piece in this series — 18" × 17" of layered turquoise, ancient glass, and light. To stand before it is to stand at the shoreline. To hang it is to bring the lake home.
Ancient Roman Road glass — glass excavated from actual Roman road sites, carrying thousands of years of human history in its texture, its color, its surface. Every bead is a fragment of a civilization that no longer exists — repurposed into something living and new. Glass embodies clarity, transformation, and amplified intention — reflecting light, truth, and the ability to see through illusions into deeper understanding. In a piece about the extraordinary clarity of Lake Tahoe's water, Roman Road glass is the most ancient mirror imaginable.
Turquoise — a sacred stone of protection, healing, and spiritual wisdom that promotes inner peace, clear communication, and balanced energy. Turquoise has been used as a protective talisman across cultures for thousands of years — from the ancient Egyptians to the Persians to the Native peoples of the American Southwest. The turquoise chip beads and rounded rectangular turquoise beads in this piece carry that entire lineage of protection and spiritual clarity. Their color IS Lake Tahoe — that specific, impossible blue-green that doesn't exist anywhere else in the same way.
Kenyan white metal heishi beads — precise and refined, carrying the energy of strength, clarity, focused energy, protection, and resilience. The silver-toned structure that holds the turquoise and glass in conversation, the way the rocky shoreline holds the water.
Recycled glass — carrying the energy of renewal, cultural heritage, and community, symbolizing transformation, resilience, and the power of purposeful creation. Glass that has lived a previous life, transformed and given new purpose — embodying the philosophy of this entire body of work.
The Energetic System
Every Essy Meyers piece is built around copper conduit rings — and copper is not accidental. Copper is one of nature's most powerful energy conductors, known for amplifying the metaphysical properties of every material it holds. Every stone, crystal, and element inside these rings is working at full power.
Each material is selected only after researching its specific metaphysical properties — chosen deliberately for what it channels, what it amplifies, and how it works in relationship with everything surrounding it.
At the center of every piece, an Asfour crystal eye receives and radiates high-vibrational light energy — amplifying intention, purifying the space, and providing spiritual illumination to every room it inhabits.
This is not wall art. This is a living energetic sculpture — a portal — a precisely researched, copper-amplified field of intention made to be felt as much as seen.
This piece calls to Water signs — Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio — and to anyone drawn to the ancient, vast, unknowable depth of still water.
